SECURE IT TO A FIXED OBJECT to prevent theft with included 35” steel cable, or mount it permanently with 2 through holes in the bottom of the case. CONVENIENT EXTERNAL SIZE at 9.5” x 6.5” x 2.25” AND INTERNAL SIZE 9" x 6" and using durable, 20ga. powder coated steel; you can place it in a drawer or under a car seat. LINED with a combination of convoluted and flat foam to surround and protect your valuables. The ONLY LOCKABLE CASE IN THE MARKET WITH AN INTERNAL HINGE to prevent someone from knocking out the hinge pin and opening the case up even when locked. CAN BE USED TO LOCK UP OTHER ITEMS like cash, jewelry, passports, credit cards, watches, checkbooks. etc. WARNING: This Metal Lockable Case can be used for many storage applications. When used for securing firearms or valuables, a locked case may be defeated by a determined individual with time and appropriate tools. This case is NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A SAFE. The Metal Case can be locked and placed in checked baggage per TSA requirements. Check with the airline you are flying and the TSA's website before transporting the firearm and case to the airport.

    Nice case that gets the job done

    Got 2 of these for me and my wife to transport our handguns and 2 magazines. They all fit well, my gun is a Taurus G3 so it's not the smallest handgun. It fits the Taurus G3 and 2 17rd magazines nicely, although it probably wouldn't really hold much more than that unless you have a compact or small mags.

    Fits my needs perfectly to lock up my gun in my truck in case I’m somewhere I can’t legally carry.

    I like how easily my 38 special fit in this case I was kinda worried it wouldn't fit but it fit nicely. My taurus g2c and the accessories fit nicely in the case no problem I thought I would have trouble closing and locking the case with my g2c and accessories but I'm very happy I was able to close and lock the case fairly easily.

    Have not installed the box as yet. The idea of being able to secure my weapon on the occasions I can't take it with me, is very important. I hated having to leave it hidden in my vehicle. Gives me peace of mind for sure

    Very nice looking case and good quality construction. The fit and finish are really nice and looks neat and compact in my lift up trunk in the back of my SUV. The cable is nice too and is a great feature. I like the exterior texturing of the case. When I opened the shipping box, the case looked a little smaller than I was expecting but no harm, no foul. The dimensions are stated on the web page and the case is perfectly fine for my G2C, though for a larger gun with a couple of magazines, it could be a tight fit. But the compact profile works. I would recommend this product.
