Recently lost the key that came with my PT92. Almost everywhere these spares were overpriced but I was very pleased to see how low the price was straight from Taurus themselves. And it came with two! These definitely help me have some peace at mind when keeping my at home firearm safe. Looking into getting a GX4XL for conceal carry soon as I'm continuously impressed with what Taurus does with their builds. Affordable, and high quality.

With any weapon, you have accessories, those accessories tend to migrate when you need them the most. The purchase of extra Taurus Security Safety (TSS) keys only makes sense! Yes, 2 does come with the weapon, but you do not want to keep them together and it defeats the purpose if you leave it with the weapon. I have the extras locked away until they will be needed, if ever. They are very well made, comes with their own chain and key ring and could easily get lost. Always best to have extras if needed. Very satisfied and I now have no fear of locking the TSS then lose a key.

The original set was lost and there was no ability to use the hammer lock or determine if it was functional. One call to Taurus was all I needed. The keys came within a few days and with a drop of Hoppe's in the action it now functions as designed. Special thanks to the courteous staff at Taurus.
