I reviewed this before but Taurus didn't like it and refused to publish it as such! Same exact thoughts, grip is vastly superior to the ridiculous rubberized shag carpeting they tortured this Tracker line-up with for well over a decade! The rubberized shag completely obliterated the revolvers lines and curves, and was literally mush in the hand, utterly revolting. I would not have even looked at this revolver if it had been dressed in such a ludicrous, and ugly stock! Imagine my surprise when I saw this 3" 692 dressed in the above proper revolver stock, it revealed a very sharp looking revolver, one with wonderful curves and lines, and it fits my hand perfectly. Its also thinner which adds to its overall excellence, I am quite pleased with it, and I would hope Taurus has after a decade of hanging robberized shag carpet on an otherwise handsome revolver, has seen the light! Five-Stars, a great revolver stock!

I would not have even looked at the 3" 692 if it had that revolting old stock that Taurus somehow managed to stick with for nearly two decades. New stock is far more functional, and supremely more attractive , it greatly adds to the lines and curves of the 692 which suddenly becomes a very nice looking revolver!

I think this group is much improved over the other grip. The other rubbery, soft texture of the grip broke down over time. This grip seems to be made a little better.
