Best case for the price
When I purchased my G3C pistol from Academy, I elected to buy the basic Plano plastic case. The latch and hinge on that case is flimsy and the foam has so much compression that I could feel the firearm pressing against the plastic case. When I saw this online, not only was the price on par with the Plano case, but I liked the molded in "Taurus" logo. When it arrived, the latch mechanism is far more robust, and I do like the dual pin hinges vs the single hinge on the Plano case. The density of the plastic is better on this case as it appears thicker and more rigid. The foam inserts on this case are excellent in providing protection but not overly soft where the firearm and magazines are squeezed against the plastic of the case. Overall, best case for the price regardless of whether you want this for your Taurus firearm or not. Similar cases I saw at Sportsman's Warehouse were $50+.

When buying a Taurus pistol it will come in a cardboard box. This case is excellent if you prefer you pistol to have a plastic case. They are tough and of great quality. Love the fact that they are stackable.
