Recoil assembly for Taurus TX22 (NOT TX22 COMPETITION). Stainless steel guide rod, sleeve and end screw with Black DLC finsh.
BLACK DLC COATING on the end screw. A very hard, black, Physical Vapor Deposition finish is used on the end screw.
FINISHES. Metal parts that rub together or make contact with other metal parts will get visibly marked, scratched, or burnished. Even very hard finishes, like the black nitrite and gold TiN finishes we use will wear and that will be visible. Stainless parts will also get scratched, burnished, and show where they rub and touch other parts. This is normal and is not a defect.

Lakeline recoil assembly
I bought this in the hopes that it would solve the problem of my TX-22 always jamming at least once during a Steel Challenge match. It seems to work fine, but it did not solve the problem.

Should be OEM
Purchased for wife's new TX-22, great upgrade from the raggedy nosed plastic original with its stepped end of spring to dig into the aluminum slide. Slide operates smooth as glass and although Lakeline told me it has a stronger spring it doesn't feel that way, probably because of the stainless steel. Delrin bushing in the nose is essential, this should be an OEM solution, if not a factory redesign of the slide with more meat to retain the recoil assembly. That said this is a perfect first pistol for her and I love shooting it too.
