Newest models have a new grip from Taurus. This grip uses a pin through the grip to secure the grip to the frame. To change the grip, the pin must be driven out. Replace with the pin included with the grip. Please review the instructions included with your grip.
Please note: If your frame pin is 1/2" across or less, you do not need to change it out for the included pin.

Perfect fit on 856
My T856 came stock with short hand grips which are probably best for concealed carry. My wife’s T856 came with these larger groups, which we both really like, so I ordered a set for my garden. Very easy to install and a perfect fit!

Reduces felt recoil and allows your finger to get around the trigger
The Hogue monogrip installation was easy and only took 3 minutes after getting the factory grip off. The monogrip is much more comfortable and allows your hand to move up on the grip and actually reduces the felt recoil of a 158 grain .357 load. As always learn how to shoot double action by gently depressing the trigger to set the cylinder and stage your trigger.... and this is one accurate pistol... Practice makes perfect and these grips definitely help!
