Grip makes the gun way more comfortable while shooting. Spreads the recoil evenly in your palm. Eliminates the waffle pattern in palm that you get with the rubber grip.

Grips fit perfectly. Recommended if you want a stylist wood grain finish. Shipping was in a timely fashion.

Craftsmanship is very good along with fit of the grip to gun frame. I didn't rate the grip a 5 stars because the included roll pin is too large to be used. Had to use the original grip roll pin to install the grip. I like how the walnut grip dresses up the already beautiful 856.

Installation with the included pins and roll pin was kind of a pain. Be best if you had the correct starter punch. There’s no instructions but you can kind of deduce where the pins and roll pin needs to go. However this look great and feel good in the hand. I found it changes the grip ever so slightly towards a more vertical grip for me. So my natural point of aim with my 605 is slightly lower than it is with the factory rubber boot. Still a great product.
