Altamont Smooth Wood Grips Small Frame Revolver

Just Wonderfull fits perfectly . kind of hard to remove for cleaning . but I stick a 1/16 wooden punch that I made thru the screw hole and lighty tap until a gap is formed and then use a plastic knife wedge to enlarge the gap until it loosen's completely. no damage what so ever. great grips

These grips are a good bit skinnier than the stock rubber grips but also longer. The original grips have a spot for you to put your pinky but don't provide enough space to actually grip adequately, that is not a problem with these. They almost remind me of the super skinny grips on old-school "detective" revolvers (look up the Rock Island M206 to see what I'm talking about), but they have just a bit of material on the front and are in my opinion much more comfortable as a result, a perfect blend of the comfort of the chunkier modern style grips and the looks of the classic skinny grips. The other good thing that really surprised me is the quality of the wood, I was expecting something resembling the usual Heritage, Rossi, Taurus low quality wood finish stained to the point it loses its natural beauty and so glossy its a pain to actually use. But Altamont really did a great job with both selecting the wood and finishing it in a nice satin finish so it doesn't slip out of your hand easily. This product really does a good job of transforming the look of the small frame Taurus revolvers without sacrificing functionality, even improving comfort for some hand shapes. Definitely recommend.

The grips size were a little off and it was a struggle to get them to fit correctly

Very nice looking came with screw, shorter roll pin to replace standard roll pin one solid pin to fit in one of two holes, I chose top position, perfect tight fit, I mean these grips are like a custom fit on my 605 stainless.

looks great, fits great,feels great and excellent quality as well as great price what else could you ask for!

The only reason for not receiving 5 stars was Taurus did not include a screw to attach the grips !!!
