    Replacement barrel

Posted by Ron Earl on Jul 16th 2024

I bought a Taurus G2c, was a bad luck gun. My very first shot was a factory load that was a squib. Found out that the slug was tapped out after soaking it with oil for three days. Then took it to a gunsmith who said there was no damage to this barrel. Sent it back. Meanwhile I wasn't able to fire more then two rounds without it jamming. Used my buddies well broken in G2C mags, still jam o matic. Called Taurus Customer Service, it was like talking with a moron. No help at all, argued with me that it was my fault because I didn't load it right. Right then I decided to get rid of this lemon. Traded it on a Ruger .380, can't be happier. Never will buy another Taurus product, I guess you still don't make any quality guns despite all the great reviews

    G2C 9MM Barrel

Posted by James G on Jun 11th 2024

Barrel dropped right in. I have a PT111G2 that was purchased used a few years ago it shot all over the place "really low to left most of the time)) I could go 10 feet from the target and miss! changed sights etc.. Have many other pistols but this was the worst shooting pistol I've ever fired by far. Was about to just keep for a nightstand gun but decided to try a new barrel, received very fast ordered on Thurs received on mon Thanks! Took it to range put the rear sight back to the center a few shots later and hitting dead center from rest and from standing, unsupported nice tight groups I'm very happy will be my IWB carry now.

    709

Put this in my PT709, cause my factory barrel always printed low left. Just to try it out, since seeing a Youtube video on 709 and G2 comparison. What the heck it costs $49 bucks. This barrel dropped right in. I've been to the range 3 times now and can say that my groupings are a bit better and the point of impact has changed to center, using several different hand loads that I make. I can say they have improved, even with my shaky hands and eyesight, at age 70. Now I basically have a new gun to play with. Perfect Fit.

    PT111 stainless barrel

Posted by Shane on Feb 13th 2024

I had some issues with the original barrel. No matter what I did or who was shooting. It always shot low and left. I saw a few message boards that other PT111 owners had the same issue. Several of them said they replaced the barrel and that fixed the issue. I am now among them. After replacing the barrel with this one my shots are now right on with a 2 inch shot group without using Kentucky windage. Worth the purchase for sure.

I must have damaged my old barrel somehow as I was getting some tumbling. New barrel works great!

    Replacement Barrel for 9mm Pt111 Millenium G2

Posted by Wayne Longmire on Nov 15th 2023

Purchased this replacement for my Pt111 Millenium G2 because the original was not up to par. Original barrel shot low and to the left. I tried changing sights and a few other parts to no avail. Did a second opinion having others try out weapon and they had same result. Upon gunsmith examination discovered excessive wear to rifling and off center bore on original barrel. Replaced original barrel and had issues resolved. On target tight groups. I purchased the weapon from original purchaser and upon my inspection it was unused so the issue may have been a factory defect. Weapon works fine now so I am happy.

another spare part, to have when needed, bought because price was great and I'd rather have factory parts rather than aftermarket.
