Maintain a stealthy factory OEM look while gaining match-grade accuracy with the Lakeline Performance Threaded Target Barrel for Taurus TX22 Generation 2 in Black Nitride Finish (SKU: T-BT2C-TX22-107-BLK / UPC: 810142076623). Precision-machined from high-grade 416R stainless steel and finished with a durable Black Nitride surface treatment, this drop-in upgrade delivers improved accuracy, cycle reliability, and mounting versatility on the TX22 Gen2 slide assembly.

The deep Black Nitride coating penetrates the metal surface to provide exceptional scratch, wear, and corrosion resistance while reducing friction for effortless slide cycling. Refined internal rifling and a precision target crown significantly tighten shot groupings over standard factory barrels, while the standard 1/2x28 threaded muzzle supports fast, secure attachment of .22LR suppressors, compensators, and muzzle devices.

Key Features:

• Match-Grade Precision: Machined to tight tolerances from 416R stainless steel to deliver tighter target groupings and consistent bullet flight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Black Nitride barrel fit the original Generation 1 Taurus TX22?

No. This barrel profile (SKU: T-BT2C-TX22-107-BLK) is engineered specifically around the slide geometry, lockup, and guide rod clearances of the Taurus TX22 Generation 2 (Gen2) platform.

Does this threaded barrel include a thread protector?

Yes. Threaded target barrels from Lakeline Performance ship with a matching black thread protector to defend the 1/2x28 muzzle threads when shooting without a suppressor or compensator attached.

Is gunsmith fitting required for installation?

No. This is a true drop-in upgrade designed to drop directly into your factory TX22 Gen2 slide assembly without filing or permanent modifications.

What is the benefit of the Black Nitride finish over standard blueing?

Black Nitride is an advanced surface conversion process that hardens the outer layer of the steel, making it drastically more resistant to corrosion, holster wear, and carbon buildup than conventional blued or painted finishes.
