Dark Star Gear Apollo

 

This holster is designed to fit the Taurus 856 and 605 3" Defender models, and will also accommodate shorter 2" barreled models. It comes ready from the factory for appendix carry, and the adjustable plastic clip can be re-positioned for traditional IWB carry as well. Additionally, the clip can be reversed, allowing for left or right handed carry.

 

The Apollo is also compatible with both the Crimson Trace laser grip for small frame Taurus revolvers and the Viridian Laser Grip.

    I recently purchased the Dark Star Gear Apollo for my Taurus 856 2” revolver. It is an outstanding holster! I carry AIWB and it is so comfortable I can actually wear it all day even when bending over and getting in awkward positions while working in my shop or on my property. The holster has excellent retention and there is no fear of the gun accidentally coming out. I highly recommend this holster!

    I've used this for a couple weeks. Works pretty well. I don't normally care for the plastic overhook, but so far it has not been a problem. Do check the screw tension occasionally. A dab of blue Loctite is probably a good idea for the screws.
