I bought these as a replacements for my new 605 revolver. Beautiful wooden grips that installed easily and looks nice on the revolver but surprised how small they look on the gun. Tomorrow, I will take to the range to see how it shoots with these small grips. I hope I can handle both with 38 special and/or 357 like I have with the factory and Hogue grips. With that said, they are beautiful grips that make it look classic.

The Rose wood grips add a classy look to my 905, the grips were a quick install, finish is done pretty well. I love the wider grip that the wood gave me and the checkering feel better than the factory plastic ones, the plastic grips felt a little narrow for me and didn't allow me to have a decent grip on the gun before. The box the grips showed up in was really well packed.

I am not a fan of the rubber grips that come on Taurus small frame revolvers...they're chunky and sticky (being rubber) and they don't come up high enough on the back of the frame for you to choke up on the gun and get a nice high grip. I've changed to Hogue grips in the past and they're nice and comfortable but even larger. I wanted something slim and easy to conceal, and I do like the nostalgic look of these wooden grips...reminds of shows from my youth like Mannix and Rockford Files. They look nice, the fit is okay and they're easy to put on but almost too thin in the front...makes you yearn for an old Tyler T-Grip to fill the void. I wish Taurus would be a little daring for once and design a custom boot grip like the ones on the Lipsey's Ultimate J-Frames, but until then, this is a nice alternative to the sticky rubber grips you get by default.

Beautiful wood, nice checkering, good fit. Certainly dresses up my 20+ year old gun. Would buy again.
