Taurus TX22 Compact Recoil Spring Assembly

The spring was great, but it couldn’t save my TX-22 compact which refused to cycle with my suppressor! I wrongly assumed a firearm with a threaded barrel would be properly sprung to cycle with a suppressor! After 6 months of back and forth with Taurus and spending money to replace warped spring with the PLASTIC guide rod, I sold the piece of garbage and now have the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite. You truly get what you pay for!

The stock recoil spring lasted over 8000 rounds before breaking. The replacement works fine, hopefully it shoots many 1000s of rounds also

I wish the pistol had come from the factory with this guide rod. This makes all the difference in the world. It is so smooth now and I haven’t had any issues. You need to get this part.

Is as advertised. Works better than the original one that came with the gun. I don't think it's any different it just doesn't have a slight hangup like the OE did. New one functions flawlessly.

Working much better than the original spring that came with the firearm. The original spring only lasted 4 months. Hope this one lasts longer.
