Nice slide
I was hesitant to go TORO, but finally decided to take the plunge and get an optic-ready slide for a gun I already had. I'm glad I did. It looks great and was super easy to attract the optic to. Why did I wait so long?

Taurus G3C T.O.R.O Conversion Kit
Had an extra red dot so I ordered this for may Taurus G3C. Simple to put on. Only thing is you have to have a good Allen wrench or two. I had to use a pipe torch to heat up the screws to remove. Why do they use loctite when the purpose of purchasing this is to remove the cover to apply an optic. Works great.

My aging eyes got me to consider the T.O.R.O. slide. I went for it and am glad I did.Paired with a quality red dot, now I’m back in the game! Highly recommend.

Nice Upgrade to Have
I should have bought the Taurus TORO model in the first place, but I didn't. If you're in the same boat as me, the good news is that it isn't an expensive upgrade, even though purchasing the TORO model would have cost less overall. It fits and works perfectly. My other slide has the SN on it, but the Toro slide doesn't, which is no big deal. Now that I have both slides, I can change the slides when I don't want the optics, with the added benefit of not disturbing it, which in turn creates only minor adjustments to be made, if that. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and It's good to have the option of an optic.

Perfect Fit
Purchased the Taurus 3GC that was not the TORO version. At the time, I wasn’t thinking of mounting an optic on the pistol. Plus it being a package deal that includes 4 mags and a range bag, influenced my purchase. I finally came to my senses and decided that I wanted to mount an optic on it. So, here I am letting everyone know that Taurus has the TORO option slide available to do just that. As you can see, the slide comes with the necessary adapter plates to mount the optic of your choice. Shipping was fast as well. One satisfied customer!!

I have put about 150 rounds through it so far and it works flawlessly. I didn't have to do any fit or finishing. It slid right on and worked from the beginning. I haven't put a red dot on it yet. But I'm impressed that it fit and it actually fits slightly tighter than the original slide.

More like 4.5 stars :) Almost perfect!
I think it's awesome Taurus is offering this slide at this price point for what is undoubtedly an attractive carry/home defense option in the G3C. The reason I would give it 4.5 Stars instead of a perfect 5 is that one of the screws that need to be removed to get the blanking plate off the slide to install your red dot was stuck really, really bad and stripped out pretty fast. It took a little over an hour to get it out, but then it was smooth sailing to install a HS407C!
