Although designed to help with wider high cap magazines, there is also a groove inside the mag well, front and rear, to align a 1911 style magazine. Years later and more innovations came along we expanded to a complete line as we offer now. If it is not and ADCO, it's not a Super Thumb. The one that guaranteed not to break.

It's a thumbs up for me
When I first got my gx4 I could only manage about 7 rounds into the clip and even that was a struggle: getting old sucks! Saw this and figured for $10 why not!?! What a difference it makes loading!! I've used it several times now and highly highly recommend this amazing item!!!!
