Taurus 1911 Commander Recoil Spring Plug BLK

Without this part, this $6.99 part, the several hundred-dollar gun, in this case my new TAURUS 1911 Commander is useless. I say this because while re-assembling the recoil spring shot out of my hand sending this $6.99 part shooting up into some fiberglass insulation and logging itself in there. I spent the next 16 hours searching for this plug. I randomly put my finger up into a hole of the insulation and found it. All the while saying to my self " i can't believe I just made my $$$ gun inoperable " so I bough 2 back ups. The moral of the story is " NEVER under estimate the value of even ths smallest part"
