Does this optic mounting plate require an FFL transfer?
No. Mounting plates and small firearm parts are non-serialized accessories and ship directly to your home address.
Will this plate fit standard non-T.O.R.O. Taurus slides?
No. This plate requires a factory optics-ready T.O.R.O. slide cut profile and will not fit standard slides without an optic cut.
Will this plate fit the smaller Holosun 407K / 507K or EPS Carry?
No. The Holosun K-series and EPS Carry use a smaller micro-compact footprint (Modified Shield RMSc pattern). Those optics typically mount directly to micro slides or require a K-series adapter plate, whereas Plate #2 is cut for full-size RMR pattern optics.
Should threadlocker be used during installation?
Yes. Applying a small drop of non-permanent threadlocker (such as Blue Loctite 242) to the mounting screws and torquing to factory recommendations is highly recommended to prevent screws from backing out under recoil.
