    Nice And Bright

It Sure Is Easier To Aim In The Dark. Now The Gun Smith Told Me To Keep an Eye On The Rear Sight. The Gunsmith Said He Didn't Like How It Fits.

Very good price, fast delivery. Easy to install. Better daytime visibility than factory sights. My nightstand gun is now complete.

    Good night sights

Posted by Miles Juelfs on Feb 24th 2024

I bought and put these on mainly because the original sights were pure crap. The rear sight could not be adjusted to get the pistol on target. My only complaint with this sight is you have to use the original rear sight screw. I would have liked a torx or Allen head in place of the slotted screw on the rear. The slotted screw is difficult to remove and put back on because the slot is so narrow. You do have some side to side adjustment of the rear sight. No elevation adjustment. I have not had the opportunity to shoot this since adding these sights to see how close it is to correct target position.

    Great night sights

Posted by Javi on Feb 19th 2024

The Taurus TX 22 iron sights, particularly the front sight with its bright orange color, provide excellent visibility even in low-light conditions, enhancing target acquisition and accuracy. The contrast against the rear sights makes for quick and intuitive alignment, facilitating rapid and precise shooting. Whether in bright daylight or dim environments, the vibrant orange front sight stands out, ensuring shooters can stay on target with confidence. Overall, the TX 22's iron sights, especially the front sight, offer exceptional performance for both seasoned shooters and beginners alike.

AMERIGLO NIGHT SIGHT SET TAURUS G2C/TX22

Posted by James Beavers on Feb 12th 2024

After trying several fiber style sights and not really liking them I purchased these to get a better night glow. The front sight fit the oval hole perfectly on my PT111 and didn't require any modification like the other sights I tried and the rear sight slid perfectly in place and didn't require any pressing like is reported on the True-Glow. The rear sight doesn't have much adjustment and really locks into place once you start tightening the screw down. Everything was dead on with my bore laser. I was really happy with the ease of installation. The front sight is a BRIGHT orange with is super nice even in low light and in dark the green glows well in low light and of course darkness. The rears on the other hand are great in normal light but once you get into low light they just disappear and the glow isn't as pronounced. In full darkness they do seem to glow. But maybe I got a bad rear batch or something. It's nothing like the front sight. I'm sure it's isolated. I wish I could attach a picture to the review. I wouldn't recommend against them or anything; their still the best bang for the buck in my opinion! Maybe someone will read this and get me a replacement set.

    Night sights for my G2

Great price! Beware, some fitting/filing may be required. Back of Ameriglo package actually says gunsmith’s installation is recommended. The front sight screw on mine wouldn’t fully tighten the sight blade. There’s a “nub” that surrounds the blade’s threaded hole which indexes into the hole in the top slide hole. It was about .004” too long judging by the aluminum shim/washer I installed under the screw to secure the blade. I’ll shorten the nub with a file later. I did appreciate the furnished torx screws! Tritium inserts seem adequate, although I was expecting brighter but I’ve never had any experience with night sights. Orange outline on the front sight is nice for low to medium lighting.
