Lakeline G3 Stainless Recoil Assembly

Works great.

Came fast and is of great quality. Much better than the plastic assembly that came with the gun. Great inexpensive upgrade.

I ordered this spring to install in a TORO slide kit I purchased. The TORO slide had an oval ledge in the recoil spring tunnel by .008". The Lakeline spring is about .005" smaller in diameter than the factory recoil spring. This lead to the Lakeline spring catching and binding in the ledge in the recoil spring tunnel. If I had not already purchased a night sight, striker guide, and striker spring for the TORO slide, I would have sent the TORO slide kit back. A factory Taurus recoil spring will just barely work in the slide kit so I am getting by with the kit for now. The Lakeline recoil spring would have been fine if the TORO slide had a smaller and not oval ledge to catch the spring.

Looks great, and sturdy. Seams to cycle much smoother than stock. Worthy upgrade.

I've had a lakelin recoil spring on my g2c for more then 4 years no problems. Install it and forget. Thousands of rounds through cc firearm. Purchased one more for the Toro conversion.

Originally put one in my G2c so had to have one in my new G3xl.
