Taurus TX22 Competition Slide Kit
Just buy it. Don’t think about it just buy it. It’s amazing and just makes an already great gun even better. A Holosun 507 competition works outstanding with this kit, just saying.

Awesome!
I bought a stock TX22 and loved it. Started using it for a pistol league and it was awesome. I figured I would give the target upper a try. I did not think the TX22 could get any better but it did! The balance with a red dot is amazing. I drill out a half inch bullseye at 7 yards all day long.

Awesome TX22 upgrade
Install was easy on my tx22. I have put about 100 rounds through it so far with no issues. Makes a good gun even better.

Red dot
Really love it. I bought the tx22 when they first came out so the competition version wasn't available. When I seen that set up I got jealous, so had to get the slide. Only thing I can say I don't care for is basically you would need to run a red dot eleven when you take the plate off. Other then that I love it.

TaurusTX™ 22 Competition Conversion Kit
Having the Standard TX22, which is a GREAT pistol, thought by just changing to the Competition Slide I could be reaching out to 80 yds like my S&W 22 A-1's 7' barrel for rabbit hunting. Well ... make that 40-60 yds it works well w/o a Red Dot. Where as the A-1 has a Red Dot. Nice to have the interchangeability. BUT .... after 60 rds through it I noticed the front sight and thread protector came loose. Ahhhhh NOT GOOD! Did replace the front sight with a TandemKross one, and made sure used some Red Lock-tight on the front sight and barrel thread protector. Since not using a Red Dot on the TX 22 Competition the "Plate" has come off and now is a tad bit lighter. The 1st 50 rounds were placed SW of Target Center by 3". A bit of adjustment got it straightened out for 20 yd sighting. 30 - 40 yds was hitting steel of 8" diameter. Made my day hearing & seeing the steel ring out. Now ..... will have to see how many rabbits I can put in the freezer within the next 3 months.
