Just what is needed, should be standard on the 942. Super easy to install.

Amazing product and a great enhancement to the snub 856. Easy to swap out and the gun now benefits from day glow and night dot.

Swapped out the ramped serrated front-sight on my 856-exe. Couldn't be happier. It is my designated carry-gun.

Easy install. Fits my 942, 942m, 605 and 856. Wished these were standard but at least available for upgrade.

Great addition to the Taurus 856

Just what I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price. I like that it has orange for day time, and glows bright in low light. Very easy to find your sight picture. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars, the tritium is a little off center.

    Easy installation?

Posted by Kenneth Casden on Feb 20th 2023

I like the Ameriglo sight, but - after reading comments about "how easy it was" to replace - it took a LOT of pounding to remove the stock pin, somewhat less to get it back in, holding the Ameriglo sight. I attempted to use the replacement pin included in the package, only to find that it was larger than the stock pin (verified with a micrometer) = unusable. This Ameriglo sight should be already mounted on this Executive Grade gun at the time of purchase. The tritium is dim, but adequate for helping find the gun at night, in the dark. Before shooting in the dark, of course, either a weapon light or flashlight is required to illuminate the target.
