It is a beautiful piece of wood nicely detailed in the engraving. and the shape and size for my smaller hand is perfect. The fit to frame is close but not perfect. The supplied steel pins hold it tight but i would have preferred a closer fit to the metal. However I would recommend it.

excellent, easy install

These grips are great! They fit perfectly and include extra pins for stability. The etching and finish is without flaw. There was absolutely no fitting needed. Once you drive the pin that holds the original rubber grips in place, you’re less than a minute from having your new grips installed! I highly recommend the Taurus factory replacement rosewood grip panels! I’ve tried others, the Taurus is by far the best!

great fit looks great

Just love these new grips, they turned my 856 from just a plain jane to eye popping wow!! The ordering process was simple and easy-to-use, and received my purchase in a few days. The grips fit good and tight, only had one issue. In the area behind the trigger guard, the grips need a little more wood removed to allow the grips to come together tightly. This was done easily with a xacto knife or a sharp pen knife. Thanks Taurus for making my new revolver look so good !!

There's no instructions and once you go online and figure it out there still kinda lose fitting
