Firing Pin Assembly
My G3C had a few light strikes after approximately 700 rounds, so I ordered a new firing pin assembly. In the meantime I disassembled the slide and fully cleaned the firing pin assembly and slide (it was fouled up). After a thorough cleaning the light strikes we’re gone! So now I have a brand new spare firing pin assembly.

Taurus G3c/G3/G3X/G3XL Striker Assembly
These things wear out after many rounds fired. Replace it and continue shooting.

G3C Striker
The G3C pistol, purchased new, suffered 100% light strikes after 50 rounds of factory ammo. Customer Service was Horrible, with common response of; :What ammo?" I installed numerous aftermarket striker assys, with no repair of problem. I remedied the light strike by installing a 15 1/2lb Wolf Spring for a Glock, but increased trigger pull. I ordered a new OEM striker assy from Taurus for comparison of OAL, due to one of the aftermarket being -.0015: shorter. The new OEM striker felt like stronger spring pressure, and surely resolved the light strikes.

Taurus Striker assembly
Taurus OEM striker assembly is a better fit than Lakeline due to error in parts dimension. Lakeline will jam the striker in its channel and will cause light strike and misfire.

taurus firing pin assembly
Works as it was intended every time.Old pin did not.

Lakeline Striker replacement components
Lakeline Striker Guide and Striker Spring Retainer are dimensioned wrong and will cause Striker malfunction in all the G3 series. Better stay with Taurus OEM parts.
