Taurus TX22 Compact Threaded Barrel

Great product at a reasonable price ..... enabled me to make use of a compensator, making a less noticable muzzle rise and felt reduced recoil .... even for a .22 caliber.

I have recently purchased 2 TX22c pistols and felt that for the price having a spare barrel for each made sense. Due to today's ammo prices plinking is affordable and fun to the point of needing a new barrel after so many freedom seeds sent downrange...

After an initial mixup I finally received my TX22 Compact Threaded Barrel... arrived in perfect condition. One question though, although I haven't installed it in my pistol yet, it appears to be the same length as the original issue barrel. Shouldn't the threaded portion of the barrel extrude from the end of the (retracted) slide? Could you please get back to me on this issue. Thank you, Jack Beaudette
